What does DatumProof offer, and what comes back?

DatumProof designs automation equipment, and builds the platform it designs on. The platform is the product: the DatumProof equipment design platform, for the design teams of equipment makers.

What the platform changes

An equipment project writes the same facts again and again — into the I/O list, the BOM, the wiring, the interlocks, the start-up procedure — and the disagreements between those copies surface on site. The platform keeps the design of the machine in one place and produces all of it from there.

What changes for the design teamWhat they get
Control design stops waiting for mechanical assemblyI/O list, BOM, communication map and power distribution table, ready for electrical CAD
Safety rules stay with the company, not with one engineerState interlock tables and a cause-and-effect matrix the whole team can review
Start-up goes faster and saferPower-up checklist, I/O checkout sheet and interlock test scenarios
Risk review starts from a draft, not a blank sheetAn FMEA draft for engineers to review and complete
Site problems are found before power-onProblems in the control sequence, each with the steps that lead to it

It does not replace electrical CAD or the way programs are written; it feeds them. It does not replace testing on the real machine, or safety circuits — emergency stop, safety doors and hard limits stay with hardwired circuits or a safety PLC.

Equipment design

DatumProof designs automation equipment itself — machines that automate a step of a manufacturing process still done by hand. Every machine it designs is designed on the platform, so drawings, wiring and start-up procedure agree from the start, and the documents stay with the customer. A manufacturer with a step to automate can discuss the design, and the building and delivery of the machine, with the company.

How it is taken up
