What a safety standard requires depends on the integrity level, the application and the scope. Which requirements apply to your equipment is a question for your certification body or your own safety function.

What this site says about our services does not fix whether we will proceed, or on what scope, duration or fee, and forms no part of any contract. Every duration given is a guide for a scope agreed before work starts.

Terms are set individually by contract. Where this site and a contract differ, the contract governs.

4. The scope of a verification result

Verification we carry out addresses the design, within the scope and assumptions agreed. It warrants nothing about the implementation, the wiring, the behaviour of the built machine, or anything placed outside the agreed scope. See Assumptions and scope on the services page.
