Getting started
Start with one machine.
See what the DatumProof equipment design platform changes on a machine of yours before you commit: one machine, a real project, and a scope fixed before we start.
Early-adoption program
One machine, a fixed scope, and outputs your team keeps.
- Target
- One machine. One you are designing now fits best
- Scope
- Fixed in writing before work starts
- You bring
- The drawings and parts list of that machine — as far as they exist
- Terms
- Under NDA. Your design data is treated as confidential
- Hardware
- Not required. The platform works on the design
- Fee
- Paid, quoted for the agreed scope; early programs are priced as reference work. After the program, the platform is licensed by subscription
What you receive
- The equipment model of that machine
- I/O list and BOM
- Safety interlock tables
- Start-up procedure documents
- An issue log — what the model brought to light, and what it could not decide
What the program covers is agreed for your machine before we start.
How it runs
From the first model to your own team running it.
- 1
Choose the machine
Which machine, and which outputs, agreed in writing before anything starts.
- 2
Model it
We build the first equipment model side by side with your designers.
- 3
Use it on the project
The outputs go into the real project, next to the way you work today.
- 4
Adopt it
If it fits, your designers run the platform themselves from the next machine, under a subscription licence.
Support
Onboarding for your design team is part of the program, and we can be there for the machine's start-up if you want us to be. Both serve one end: your team running the platform on its own.
If it does not fit
A program can also show that the platform does not fit your machine yet. If it does, we will say so, and say why.
Tell us about the machine.
Not sure which machine to start with? That is a normal place to begin.
